More stuff:
- Only recently developed her mutation. So far it amounts to her hair changing colour when she has a flash of strong emotion (usually surprise), but once she controls it, will be able to bend light to camouflage herself / blind opponents / create shadows for Ash / change her hair at will etc
- Strong swimmer, and graceful in the water. Occasionally pretends to drown so Ash has to work at something, but usually just races with him. At pool parties is 100% the chick lounging on an air mattress instead of playing
- Ash and her express their affection with light douchebaggery, genuine support, pranks, and sprawling over each other / her falling asleep on his shoulder. Although she is friendly and low-key cheerful to everyone, she doesn't treat them all the way she treats Ash, which leads to the assumption that they are A Thing. They are not. The facts do not deter the teasing
- Is gonna be hella fashionable when she's a little older, but now just goes with cute
- Ash has taught her some Spanish, but with deliberately bad pronounciation
- Is such a bad cook like holy shit the first time she met Ash she was burning water, so he declared he could cook better than her, and it ended with them almost burning the kitchen down
- Has good balance. Is agile, but not stunningly so
- Actually has some serious inferiority shit (at this point) over her mutant powers. Being surrounded by amazing skills and flashy shit, and all she can do is get mildly startled?? Lame. In her darker moments, she doesn't feel human because she's a mutant, but she doesn't really feel like she belongs with the mutants, either, because she's so... less than them
- Trains a lot with Ash, and gets frustrated she's so physically weak
- Actually has kind of a temper, but a very long fuse, and rarely shows it. More empathic than she would prefer to be
- Average student, but hates studying and her work gets sloppy when she's bored. Is more frustrated by her inability to get over her shortcomings easily than the shortcomings themselves
- Wanted to be a lawyer, but after this whole development thing, is starting to rethink her future
- Her sister isn't a mutant, and her parents would prefer if she wasn't, either. They still ring, but refuse to visit her at the school. When they do interact, her parents refuse to hear any Mutant Malarky (TM), and always speak as if this is just a minor speedbump, and once she gets home, it will be over. This causes some tension once her powers develop further and she finds a kind of pride in what she is, rather than what she wanted to be
- After she starts 'dating' Ozzie, the assumption is that she's going up to the room to hang out with both him and Ash. This is not helped by the fact that all three of them go on picnics together. She lovingly refers to Ozzie as her beard.
- Ash tries to eat what she cooks for them. Ozzie does not.
