Meng Zhi Age: 24 Birthday / Zodiac: Dec 4 (sagittarius) / fire tiger Hair/Eyes: Black, coiled, two braids / brown Occupation: Paranormal Investigator Important People: QiQi, the dragon, Lacey (sorta) Short Personality: Street smart, silent, observant, stubborn, thrill-seeker and a tomboy. |
Longer Personality
- Has literally all the street smarts; she learns quickly, is aware and observant, thinks well on her feet, and reads people pretty consistently.
- Spends most of her time alone (with the exception of QiQi) and so in the presence of other humans who can actually speak, tends to forget that she needs to verbalise her thoughts. She can be a bit abrupt, and due to her line of work, finds selflessness suspicious rather than kind.
- Resting face of not-giving-a-shit.
- Holds no grudges and has barely any temper. Pretty fucking zen tbh.
- Extremely sneaky and has at least +10 stealth.
- Seriously enjoys being alive and doesn't want to trudge through the monotony of a bland existence. Seeks out thrills, and takes dumb chances to chase them.
- Bit of a tomboy. Not afraid to get her hands dirty and swears too much when no-one is listening.
- Doesn't appreciate advice and meets it with stubborn ignorance, but will swallow her pride when she realizes she's wrong.
- Bleeding heart for innocent creatures.
- What gender is QiQi? Who cares.
- Considers the semi-regular possession of her shadow to be a necessary part of the job.
Other Stuff
- Zhi's world is post-apocalyptic; the apocalypse was brought about by a disintegration of the barrier between the human and spirit worlds. She was born post-apocalypse, and this is all she's ever known.
- Investigating spooky spirit shit (and dealing with it) pays the bills, but she plays Robin Hood in her spare time. There's a lot of ruins still left to loot, and once she's had the satisfaction of discovering whatever is inside, she distributes the wealth to those who need it. She's got no interest in uncovering secrets.
- The goggles help her see spiritual energy; they're very useful when QiQi starts flaring up.
